BODO CITY WITNESSED 2ND SPILLAGE IN TWO WEEKS ALLEGED EQUIPMENT FAILURE: RESIDENTS PROTEST

On the Eve of Wednesday 24th August 2022 a pipeline belonging to Shell Plc Company was found leaking, leading to a fresh oil spillage in Bodo City. Just two weeks after another spillage occurred in the Community.

Residents staged a protest against Shell on Thursday 25th Aug. Calling on shell Plc to come and settle the Community and take care of the mess.

Huge Concern now raised over the safety of the land following regular oil spillages.
